概要
金属加工応用コースは金属加工工具の選定と使用に関する幅広い知識を提供するよう計画されています。 このコースは4つのセクションに分かれており、それぞれのセクションでは講義、実習、機械実演によってトレーニングを行います。
1. 「金属加工の方法」では、工具を設計視点から学びます。 このセクションは「工具が切削する仕組み」の考察から始まり、旋削加工、ミーリング加工、穴あけ加工に関連する設計要素へと続きます。 切れ刃形状のすべての側面を、関連する切れ刃、ワークピース材、動力とともに考察します。
2. 「材料学」は一般的な切削工具の材種と、それらが互いに関係する仕組みについて考察します。 粉末金属技術について「炭化物の製造方法」から考察し、現在の超硬材種とセラミック材種技術を学びます。 コーティング技術では、一般的な応用方法とコーティング材の最新の進歩などを学びます。
3. 「選定と応用」は工具を選定し応用するための工具経路法を紹介します。 このセクションは旋削、ミーリング、穴あけの3種類の加工に分かれています。 「選定と応用」には加工実習があり、実際に体験していただけます。
4. 「機械加工の経済」では、最大効率を得るための作業条件の設定方法、作業条件と工具損傷の因果関係、被削性とテスト手法および経費の正当化など、生産性と全体のコストに影響する要素を取り上げます。
